Born April 30, 1933, Nelson has been a musician pretty much all his life. And all kinds of a musician. A Grand Ole Opry musician, an original country outlaw, a pop balladeer, jazz—you name it. He's sung for the IRS and Farm Aid, wrote Patsy Cline's "Crazy," fought for marijuana legalization and the environment and been honored by just about everybody who has honors to give out.
