I don't mean preventing cats per se, but preventing them from attacking your stuff. About once a week I'm sitting at my computer, hard at work, and my vicious Siamese cat decides that now is a good time to jump up and do some redecorating. I am seldom appreciative of his efforts, and my attempts to remove him from the premises usually result in even more redecorating.
